Surya Satellite-1 is the first initiation of nanosatellite development program that was made by Surya University undergraduate student. In this program, we collaborate with Center for Robotics and Intelligence Machine (CRIM), Indonesia Amateur Radio Organization (ORARI), Indonesia Aerospace Agency (LAPAN), and Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).

Vision

Become the pioneer of nanosatellite technology development in Indonesia as one of the aspect of 'Indonesia Jaya' 2045

Mission

  1. Low orbit space research facility

  2. Educational facility for designing, manufacturing, and developing nanosatellite for Indonesian youth

  3. Provide APRS communication for emergency situation

  4. Become a trigger for national research of nanosatellite development

  5. Become a future platform for space mission and technology development
